A wall art made with vintage silk kimono.
This navy blue silk kimono fabric has a weaving pattern of "Asanoha" (Hemp leaves) that appears depending on the lighting. Asanoha, hemp has strong vitality and grows vigorously on its own, thus this geometric pattern is often used as a talisman against evil in Japanese traditional garments. Colourful flowers and leaves are beautifully painted on this weaved fabric and give a crisp finish. There is only this wall art available from this kimono fabric, so don't wait too long! This fabric is from 1950s. Vintage kimono fabrics might have some blemishes, however we try to use the best preserved part. Please send us a message if you have any questions.
