Japanese bridge landscape wall art (red purple)

This is a wall art made with vintage silk kimono. 

This wall art showcases traditional Japanese landscapes with a bridge and a little thatched-roof resting hut surrounded by various plants which are commonly used in Japanese kimono design. Yuzen dyeing technique, the Japanese resist dyeing technique using the rice paste resist (both dyed and undyed) is used on this fabric and this paste keeps the dye areas separated. Bridge landscapes and surrounding natures are all carefully handpainted. beautifully trimmed Japanese pine trees and colourful peonies catch the audience's attention. Additional plants are woven in the silk fabrics which can only be seen with careful eyes.

The fabrics we use are in excellent condition, though sometimes there are small marks, blemishes, and or creases indicative of the fabric's rich history. If you have any questions or concerns, please send us a message.
