This is a wall art made with a vintage silk broad sash called "Obi".
An "Obi" is a broad sash worn around the waist with kimono. Both women and men wear it but women's obi is wider and more decorative, so we use mostly women's Obi for our creations.
This Obi is vivid tangerine orange and Origami cranes are neatly painted. Paper cranes are the most popular form of origami in Japan. The crane has always been a strong symbol of success and good fortune in Japanese culture. Simple yet elegant, a standalone paper crane will have a strong presence on your wall. Available in 2 different sizes. You can purchase them separately or as a set, but we highly recommend displaying them as a set. This wall art is one of a kind and surely will catch any audience's eyes. We have taken the most decorative part of the obi to create this wall art.
The fabrics we use are in excellent condition, though sometimes there are small marks, blemishes, and or creases indicative of the fabric's rich history. If you have any questions or concerns, please send us a message.
